PREPARING YOUR ENQUIRY
What should we understand first?
- Current licence and relevant authority
- Expiry date or the change you need to make
- Any outstanding requirements or correspondence
Company administration
Identify what needs renewing or changing in your company records and prepare for the relevant authority process.

PREPARING YOUR ENQUIRY
AGREEING THE SCOPE
Provide the licensing authority, expiry date, company structure and any existing correspondence. State whether you need a routine renewal or changes to activities, ownership, managers, name or premises. Requirements vary, so a previous year’s process should not be assumed to apply unchanged.
Premises arrangements, approvals, company records and outstanding items may need attention as part of the review. An amendment can involve different documentation from a renewal. Explain deadlines and any related visa or banking updates so the full administrative effect can be considered.
Ask for authority charges and professional support to be separated. The quote should explain the exact amendment or renewal work, required customer documents and excluded tasks. Any penalties or outstanding payments should be confirmed against the authority’s actual records rather than estimated without a case review.
Explain both requirements so the authority process and combined scope can be checked.
You can enquire. Provide the expiry date and any notices so the current position and support required can be reviewed.
